Facts checked against official sources on 11 October 2026. How we research

Six hotels within 6 miles of the terminal
Drive times and distances are estimates from road routing on OpenStreetMap, from the terminal postcode to each hotel's postcode, with no traffic. They are given as "about" because the real time depends on the hour and the traffic. Parking and park-and-fly terms are what each hotel's own website says.

A guest house on Hurn Court Lane sits closer to the runway than any of these, but no website of its own could be found to confirm its rooms or parking, so it is not listed.
Which hotel is closest to Bournemouth Airport?
The Avon Causeway, on the Hurn side of the airport, is the nearest hotel with its own published details. It is a Butcombe pub with 12 en-suite rooms, built as a conversion of the old Hurn railway station, and it describes itself as dog-friendly, child-friendly and wheelchair-accessible (Avon Causeway). The estimated drive to the terminal is about 5 minutes.
The next cluster is at Cooper Dean, where the A338 meets Castle Lane East, about 8 to 9 minutes away. The airport's own accommodation page lists only one hotel, the Travelodge here, which it puts at "an 11 minutes drive" (Bournemouth Airport accommodation).
Can I leave my car at an airport hotel?
At one hotel near the airport, yes. The Avon Causeway lets guests who stay the night before a flight leave the car for £50 a week, up to two weeks. It must be booked on the pub's own website using the "Hotel & Parking" option, and it cannot be booked through any other platform. The parking is on top of the room rate, which changes by date.
None of the other five hotels mentions leaving a car while you fly on its own website. Village Hotel charges for stays over 4 hours (£10 a day Monday to Thursday, £5 Friday to Sunday) and warns that penalty charges apply, so treat it as parking for guests, not a park-and-fly service, unless the hotel confirms otherwise in writing.
Holiday Extras sells one hotel-and-parking package for this airport: the Hallmark hotel on Durley Chine Road, on Bournemouth's West Cliff, with parking at the hotel for up to 15 days. Its example price was £119 including a week's parking for a 6 December 2026 stay, quoted on 7 October 2026 (Holiday Extras airport hotels). That hotel is in town, about 6.5 miles from the terminal by Holiday Extras' figure.
To weigh any of these against simply parking at the airport, the Bournemouth Airport parking page has dated prices for every official car park and the off-site option on Merritown Lane.
Is there a Premier Inn near Bournemouth Airport?
Two. Premier Inn Christchurch West, on Bailey Drive, is about 3.8 miles and 11 minutes' drive from the terminal. Premier Inn Bournemouth/Ferndown, at Tricketts Cross, is about 5.7 miles and 12 minutes away. Both have free on-site parking for guests, and neither offers a shuttle or a park-and-fly rate on its hotel page.

Getting from the hotel to the terminal
No hotel in the table lists a courtesy shuttle to the airport, so plan on a car or a taxi. Departures for the morning bank leave from about 06:30 (the airport's live board on 11 October 2026 showed TUI to Gran Canaria at 06:35 and Jet2 to Faro at 06:55), and the morebus 737 only reaches the terminal at 06:31 and 07:21, on weekdays, from Bournemouth town centre, not from any of these hotels. Bus and taxi detail is on the airport to Bournemouth town page.
Anyone dropped at the terminal by car or taxi goes through the Express Drop-off area inside Car Park 1, which costs £8 for up to 30 minutes (Bournemouth Airport car parking). The airport drop-off page covers how it works.

Frequently asked questions
Is there a hotel at Bournemouth Airport?
No. The airport's accommodation page lists a holiday cottage agency and the Travelodge at Cooper Dean, 11 minutes' drive away, and no hotel on the airport site. The nearest hotel is The Avon Causeway in Hurn, about 1.5 miles by road.
Do any hotels near Bournemouth Airport run a shuttle bus?
None of the six hotels above mentions an airport shuttle on its own website. Allow for a taxi, and for the £8 drop-off charge if the driver goes into the drop-off area.
Which airport hotel has the cheapest parking while you fly?
The Avon Causeway, at £50 a week (maximum two weeks) with a night's stay, is the only hotel near the airport that publishes a park-and-fly rate. For a week or more it costs less than any official car park in the examples on the airport parking page, though the room is an extra cost.
